Polypropylene (PP) strap
PP is one of the most commonly used materials for strapping, it is an excellent solution for the packaging of light to medium-weight loads, such as packing cardboard packs, newspapers, boxes, etc. This is because it combines good load resistance with an extremely competitive price. The strap comes in different colors, but the most common are white, blue, and black.
Polypropylene strap is a flexible material, which means that it is difficult to tear under shock loads during transportation. The standard polypropylene strap is not particularly suited for straped products standing outside in direct sunlight because ultraviolet sun rays diminish the qualities. UV-protected PP strap is available for this applications or Polyester strap (PET).
The polypropylene tape is suitable for working with hand tools, with semi-automatic and automatic strapping machines.

Polyester (PET) strap
Polyester (PET) strap has excellent characteristics for strength and shock resistance, which makes it an ideal for packaging heavy loads. PET strap is the best replacement for metal strap at much lower cost. This makes it an ideal substitute for heavy cargo. PET strap is suitable for working with hand tools, semi-automatic and automatic strapping machines.
