AUTONOMOUS AMR K50 COMPANION FAST-TRANSIT ROBOT
The K50 is a high-speed Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) designed to complement the Automated HaiPick ACR Fulfillment Systems 1, 2, and 3;
Thanks to its compact chassis and excellent maneuverability, the K50 automates the transport of picking containers from the lower racking levels to the workstations at maximum speed without interrupting the orders fulfillment flow;
K50 is a key component in the HaiPick System 3 configurations but can also be flexibly deployed, and used in the HaiPick Automated HaiPick System 2 and 3 where ultra-fast delivery is needed from the base of the warehouse system to the picking stations;
With a top speed of 4 m/s, autonomous LiDAR navigation, safety sensors, and fast charging, the K50 efficiently transports up to 25 picking containers per hour. Its lithium-titanium battery has a lifespan of over 10,000 cycles and provides up to 2 hours of autonomous operation after only 10 minutes of charging, ensuring continuous logistics flow!
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS OF THE FAST TRANSIT AMRs K50
- Maximum speed of up to 4 m/s, making it the fastest AMR in the industrial logistics segment;
- Ergonomic design – it can lift up to a height of 0.75 meters, allowing manual loading and picking of containers at this height without bending. This makes it very suitable and convenient for processes where a person manually places or picks items directly from the AMR robot - the so-called pick-on-robot process;
- Robust and durable industrial battery - lithium-titanium accumulator with over 10,000 cycle life, equivalent to approximately 10 years under normal operating conditions;
- Fast-Charge technology - 10 minutes of charging provides up to 2 hours of autonomous operation – fully autonomous, with no direct human intervention needed – the K50 AMR autonomously navigates to the charging station when necessary, and its tasks are taken over by other K50 AMRs in the system;
- Precise navigation and safety – equipped with LiDAR for remote mapping, an active obstacle avoidance system, and autonomous docking at the charging station - CE/NRTL certified – includes visual and sound alarms as well as voice notifications for status monitoring;

The K50 operates in combination with HaiPick ACR robots – automated case-handling robots (ACR) are responsible for retrieving containers from the upper rack levels, while the K50 transports the picking containers from the lower level to the workstation with exceptional speed and efficiency;
COMPLETE WORKFLOW IN HAIPICK 3 SYSTEMS
Within the HaiPick Automated Fulfillment System 3, where telescopic ACRs with ChainPick technology like A42T-E2 are integrated, the K50 contributes to:
- Ultra-dense storage of up to 50 picking cassettes/m² (or about 40–48 in various configurations);
- Dramatically increased operator SKU efficiency – up to 6 times higher;
- The robot supports easy configuration by working with deeper shelves – from 3 to 5 levels of picking containers, even when racks are up to 10 meters high. This facilitates handling and loading containers at different heights and depths;
