Video of the new, storage automation technologies, integrated in the distribution center of Keller Logisitc in Romania. The new automated racking solution is engineered to perform in 2 different cold chambers, storing more than 10 000 pallets at -27°C and at +5 / -22°C;
All the processes in the warehouse are 100% automated. The pallets are introduced to the cold chambers through air locks, and a special checking station, installed on a conveyor system for pallets. 4 stacker cranes lift and position the pallets on a specific storage location, determined by the WMS - Warehouse Management Software, and a specially designed MFL - Material Flow System;
The Racking Structure is a combination of a self-supporting racking system and specially designed Mezzanine platforms, constructed above the main storage grid;
