Video of the new, 100% Automated Storage System for pallets engineered and installed for Olympus, in the cold warehouse of the company, near the city of Larissa in Greece;
The software and hardware teams of STAMH Group ensured optimal material flow in the warehouse. STAMH Group found a specially designed technical solution for the needs of Olympus - MFS – or a Material Flow System, through which decisions can be made based on the data in the system – product type, inventory, location of each pallet, expiration date, number and customer orders:
- Increased capacity in the refrigerated warehouse, due to high density racking system;
- 100% automated, software driven AS/RS solution for pallets;
- Stacker crane, and robotic shuttle-pallets carrier able to achieve up to 24 double cycles of storing and retrieving pallets per hour;
